Our Story & Faith
Rooted in Scripture, growing in grace
We are a congregation of believers in the Sierra Nevada — part of a worldwide Adventist family committed to living out God's love and the hope of Christ's return.

Who we are
Truckee Seventh-day Adventist Church is a community of people who have found rest, purpose, and belonging in Jesus. Some of us have walked with Him for decades; others are just beginning to ask questions. All of us are learning, together, what it means to follow.
As Seventh-day Adventists, we cherish the Sabbath as a weekly gift of rest and relationship. We study the whole counsel of Scripture, serve our neighbors, and live in the joyful expectation of Christ's return — all carried by His grace.
What we believe
A few of the convictions that shape our life together.
Jesus at the center
We believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — and that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
The Bible as our guide
The Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and the authoritative rule for faith and life. We study them together each Sabbath.
The Sabbath gift
We observe the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday) as a day of rest, worship, and delight — a memorial of God's creation and a foretaste of eternity.
Hope of His return
We look forward to the soon return of Jesus, the resurrection of the faithful, and the promise of a new heaven and a new earth.
